Tivoli, mechanical wooden game from the Ore Mountains

Remember that sound?

The spring clicks, the ball shoots out between the pins and all you can do is watch where it lands.

Five points? Fifty? Or straight to a hundred?

Tivoli is a simple mechanical game that needs no electricity, no batteries and no app. All it takes is a ball, a little skill and someone you want to beat. 😄

And that is exactly its charm.

One game takes a few minutes. But it rarely stays at just one.

How to play Tivoli

You shoot the ball with the spring. On its way it bounces between the pins and finally drops into one of the scoring holes.

Each shot can score 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 90 or up to 100 points.

After ten shots you add up the points and it is the next player's turn.

The highest total wins.

You will understand the rules in a moment. Finding out who is the most competitive person at the table usually takes even less.

A game coming home to Nová Ves v Horách

Tivoli is nothing new in Nová Ves.

These wooden games were made here in the past and were also shipped abroad. After many years we decided to bring Tivoli back and make it again where it belongs.

In our workshop in Nová Ves v Horách.

We make, check, finish and assemble the individual parts right here. As with all our products, the work of machines meets the work of human hands.

And the first new series is not large. It has only 50 pieces.

Not to create artificial scarcity. We are a small workshop and we are starting with a quantity we can handle well.

For dad, grandad, your partner or the gang at the cottage

Maybe you remember Tivoli from years ago. Maybe you are seeing it for the first time.

Either way, it is exactly the kind of game you bring out when visitors come, take to the cottage or leave ready wherever good company gathers now and then.

No screen. No charging. No complicated instructions.

Just a ball, points and the question:

“One more game?”

And if you are looking for an unusual gift for someone who supposedly “has everything”, we would bet they do not have a Tivoli yet. 🙂
